Looking at Renzo Piano’s design for the new Manhattanville campus (CBS’s future home), one can see why this world-renowned architect is often described as “a master of light and art.”

What’s it like inside a Piano? Below is video of the lobby of his most recent creation: the NYT Building on 8th Avenue.





Piano may be best known for the Centre Pompidou, but he’s built a wide range of structures, including the San Nicola football stadium, the Paul Klee Center and, according to his friend and fellow architect Richard Rogers, a concrete sailboat. “It actually worked very well,” says Rogers in a Time magazine article.
